Job Summary
The Sales Representative Team Lead is responsible for executing the sales strategy in their region. This role involves all aspects of sales representation, including time spent on the ground working with sales representatives, selling, training, and coaching the team, and negotiating independent agreements.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, Coach, Motivate, Train, and Develop the Sales Team
- Communicate Daily with Sales Representatives and Hold Monthly District Meetings
- Execute the Sales Strategy in Their Area of Responsibility
- Work with the Sales Team to Establish Territory Priorities and Apply Strategies to Achieve Volume, Revenue, and Goal Objectives
- Ensure the Best Possible Implementation of Strategies Established by the Director, Regional General Manager, and Key Account Manager
- Negotiate Independent Agreements and Ensure Their Respect in Collaboration with Sales Representatives
- Manage the Overall Orientation of Goal Setting
- Supervise and Manage Goal Setting and Motivate the Team to Achieve Them Through Weekly Individual Meetings
- Manage Territory Coverage and Employee Development Strategies. Regularly Review the Territory Coverage and Service Model to Ensure Business Objectives Are Met
Requirements
- Hold a University Degree or Equivalent (In Business, Sales, or Marketing)
- Have Five Years of Relevant Sales Experience
- Have Sales Management Experience
- Hold a Level 2 WSET Diploma or Equivalent (An Asset)
- Master Suite Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Ability to Work on Multiple Projects and Good Priority Management
- Analytical Skills
- Communication Skills
- Ability to Build Lasting Relationships with Clients and Business Partners
- Valid Driver's License
