Landscape Construction Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Sod Laying Labourer to join our team at The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd. As a key member of our landscape construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to sod laying, ground maintenance, and landscape construction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with sod laying and ground preparation
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
- Cut and maintain grass to ensure a well-manicured appearance
- Apply fertilizers and other soil treatments as needed
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal growth and health
As a Sod Laying Labourer, you will work primarily outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in various locations, including sports fields, urban areas, and private residences.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Experience in landscape construction or a related field is an asset
- Physical Demands: This role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Work Schedule: 40-70 hours per week, with a seasonal work term
English is the primary language of communication in this role. You will be required to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
