Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is a key role within the Particle Processing Team (PPT) at IDEX Corporation. This position will be primarily responsible for developing sales growth in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Fitzpatrick and Quadro products in North America as requested.
  • Take the lead in developing a healthy funnel within the territory, prospecting and nurturing future business.
  • Develop new sales opportunities within the territory, including electronic outreach, contact via telephone, and networking.
  • Work with customers to review and define User Requirement Specifications, respond to customer inquiries, and qualify new leads.
  • Help nurture opportunities and lead consultative selling activities, follow-up on proposals, negotiate and win orders.
  • Manage existing channel partners and appoint new representatives where appropriate across the territory.
  • Provide regular contact with existing customers, support service and after-sales activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team on the input and execution of marketing plans.
  • Ensure the group's CRM database (Dynamics 365) is actively managed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience selling capital equipment.
  • Experience managing commissioned sales representatives and distributors.
  • Demonstration of negotiation and sales with senior customer leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and capability to travel worldwide.
  • Aptitude for technical consultation and product configuration.
  • Post-secondary technical training would be an asset.
