The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in a permanent, full-time position. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing repairs and alterations to building structures, including millwork, walls, ceilings, and doors. You will also be involved in in-house renovations and additions, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with codes, Provincial Acts, and pertinent policies and procedures.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Red-Seal Inter-provincial Carpenter Ticket Required
- 1 year of related experience required; 4 years of experience preferred
- Travel between sites may be required; access to reliable transportation is necessary
- Competencies in other languages are an asset, with French being preferred

Hours- Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $28.82. Additionally, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. The candidate may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
