Carpenter - Maintenance and Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing repairs and alterations to building structures, including millwork, walls, ceilings, and doors. You will also be responsible for in-house renovations and additions, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with codes and Provincial Acts.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Red-Seal Inter-provincial Carpenter Ticket
- At least 1 year of related experience, with 4 years preferred
- Ability to travel between sites, with access to reliable transportation
- Competencies in other languages an asset, with French preferred

Hours and CompensationThis is a long-assignment, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The assignment is approximately 12 months in length, and you will be compensated at a rate of $26.97 - $28.97 per hour.
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
