About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Rider team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core riding experience, including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, subscriptions, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and solve strategically essential consumer-facing rider problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational product platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core rider experiences.
  • Scrutinize and reason clearly about the technology and architecture choices we make, often serving as the decider of these decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
  • Mentor and support other engineers on the team, identifying and developing future leaders.
  • Advise Lime's leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements.
About You
  • 5+ years of industry professional software development experience, with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
  • Customer-obsessed, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Data-driven, relying on data to inform decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Owner's mindset, with a self-starter approach and a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong collaborator, with experience working across functions and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about Lime's mission and the potential for micromobility to transform cities.
  • Outcomes-oriented, with a focus on driving meaningful business results.
  • Strong influencer, with experience motivating and empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • 2+ years of experience coding in Ruby on Rails, although other languages are also welcome.
