About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at GOLDi Transport Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of truck drivers and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
    • Provide guidance and support to drivers to improve their performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Operational Management
    • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Monitor and control transportation costs to ensure they are within budget.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all drivers and staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations.
    • Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses to ensure that corrective action is taken.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and development opportunities to drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop training programs to address these.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in transportation or logistics
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
