Position Overview

The Seafood Processing Associate plays a crucial role in the operations of Fisherman's Market International Incorporated. This position involves working with various types of fish and shellfish, ensuring they are processed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications
  • No formal educational background is necessary
  • Comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires
Work Environment
  • Work areas may be noisy

Key Responsibilities
  • Manually unload and transport fish and shellfish
  • Utilize forklifts for moving seafood products
  • Prepare and package fish filets for distribution
  • Document weights and ensure fish are packed in ice
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and machinery
  • Sort and categorize different types of fish
Physical Demands
  • Engage in repetitive tasks
  • Ability to handle heavy loads is essential
