Fish Processing Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Fish Processing Labourer to join our team at Fisherman's Market International Incorporated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transport them to the work area
  • Operate forklifts to transport unloaded fish and shellfish
  • Condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing
  • Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack in ice
  • Clean machines and work areas
  • Measure and dump ingredients into mixing and grinding machines
  • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination
Work Environment:

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Overtime required
