Licensed Optical Specialist

Join our team at Tri Vision Optical as a dedicated Licensed Optician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional optical services to our clients.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of College or CEGEP
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in the optical field
- Field of Study: Optics or Optical Sciences
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' eyeglasses and contact lenses by utilizing advanced optical measuring instruments to evaluate eye curvature, pupillary distance, and bridge width.
- Interpret and implement specifications for eyewear based on prescriptions provided by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
- Oversee and guide the work of junior opticians or students in the optical practice.
- Provide expert advice on the proper use and maintenance of contact lenses.
- Coordinate the grinding or polishing of lenses, or perform these tasks personally.
- Make necessary adjustments to finished eyewear to ensure a perfect fit for clients.
Responsible for supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
Licensing and CertificationsMust hold a valid license issued by provincial or territorial authorities.
Work EnvironmentThis position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
