We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at Tri Vision Optical. As a key member of our optical department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in our eyewear products.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze client eyeglasses or contact lenses and measure eye curvature, pupillary distance, and bridge width using optical measuring devices.
  • Obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from prescriptions prepared by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
  • Supervise or manage activities of other opticians or student opticians.
  • Advise clients on use and care of contact lenses.
  • Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind and polish lenses.
  • Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients.
Requirements:
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • 1-2 years of experience in optics or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
