- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and emergency protocols, including safe lifting techniques, maintaining cleanliness, managing evacuations, and responding to emergency codes.
- Address customer and associate inquiries, providing support and direction as necessary.
- Supervise all Front End associates, ensuring adequate coverage, coordinating breaks, and assisting at registers as needed.
- Deliver training to associates on systems and company procedures, such as scanning accuracy, productivity, and safety protocols.
- Manage purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assisting in error correction and verifying compliance with company guidelines.
- Ensure all EAS systems operate effectively, including cashier deactivation and appropriate handling of issues by greeters.
- Prepare registers for daily opening and closing, supporting cashiers with change and maintaining front end cash levels through regular audits.
- Promote and oversee all company-sponsored programs and initiatives, including credit card services and discount programs.
