About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Packaging: Assist customers with purchasing and packaging their bakery items, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and unpack incoming stock, counting and recording items as needed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Availability: 30 hours per week
