Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Timcourt Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are clean and free of food residue.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used to help us manage inventory and reduce waste.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods to meet customer requests.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Take customers' orders and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Electronic cash register and food dispenser experience an asset.
