Job Title: Room Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Cleaner to join our team at Days Inn Stouffville. As a Room Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Polishing: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language required.
