Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Days Inn Stouffville. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and ensure that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on hotel facilities and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Special Tasks: Clean and disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean changing rooms and showers, and handle and report lost and found items.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
