About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Industrial team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects from start to finish, working closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support resourcing and budget management for industrial projects
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables with discipline leads, ensuring timely and high-quality results
  • Maintain man-loading planning and project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation
  • Prepare and maintain project cost control reports, providing accurate and timely financial information
  • Manage project changes, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets
  • Develop and maintain HSE and Quality procedures for each project, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Represent WSP at meetings, presentations, and client interactions, providing excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Respond to project-related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Capture and report lessons learned from previous projects, ensuring continuous improvement and best practices
  • Support business development efforts, contributing to proposal preparation and client engagement
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • At least 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment, with a focus on industrial clients and projects
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, managing multidisciplinary projects
  • EIT, CET, or P.Eng. designation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire for career advancement
  • Ability to interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment, with a valid driver's license
