**About the Role**

As a Mechanical Engineer at Wood, you will be part of a team delivering complex industrial, brownfield, and multidisciplinary projects across the power, mining, and energy sectors. Our teams are trusted by clients to design, build, advance, and deliver on their most challenging projects, and we need your expertise to make it happen.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution with a Professional Engineer designation
  • 7-10 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, codes, standards, and equipment to the design and production of various products
  • Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Time management skills to manage various design projects
  • Conducting oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully prioritize, organize projects, deadlines, and tasks with little supervision in team environments
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
