We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Sr Elementary. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of child care professionals in providing high-quality care and programming to our students before and after school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of child care professionals in providing care and programming to students before and after school
- Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for students
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
- Knowledge of recreational programming and child development principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Assets:
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Knowledge of child-centered programming and curriculum development
