Public Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting health and preventing disease in our communities. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing health programs, conducting health assessments, and providing education and support to individuals and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health programs to promote healthy behaviors and prevent disease
- Conduct health assessments and provide education and support to individuals and communities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement health policies and programs
- Provide health education and promotion to diverse populations
- Conduct research and analyze data to inform health program development and evaluation
Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing including public health nursing component
- Six (6) months recent, relevant Public Health nursing experience or one years' recent nursing experience in Maternal/Infant/Child or successfully meets FH New Grad requirements with successful completion of final practicum/Co-op in Public Health
