Financial Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Ayo & Company Professional Corporation. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping
- Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial reports, including budget variances and cash flow statements
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections
- Accounting Systems
- Set up and maintain accounting systems, including general ledgers and accounts payable
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Tax Preparation
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns
- Assist in the preparation of tax planning and compliance
- Administrative Duties
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations
- Education
- College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field
- Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Skills
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced accounting environment
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
