Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Ayo & Company Professional Corporation. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including budget variances and cash flow statements
    • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections
  • Accounting Systems
    • Set up and maintain accounting systems, including general ledgers and accounts payable
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
  • Tax Preparation
    • Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns
    • Assist in the preparation of tax planning and compliance
  • Administrative Duties
    • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
