Project Leadership Role

Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

As the preferred candidate, you will have the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio while providing effective guidance to your project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse range of projects for various clients, becoming the primary contact for a designated list of clients.
  • Responsible for executing Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, DSI, and remediation projects, including budget formulation and adherence, time management, cost tracking, scope definition, proposal preparation, and report and invoice generation.
  • Direct and support projects aiming for Certificates of Compliance and other legal instruments from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
  • Ensure projects are completed within the established timeline and budget.
  • Engage with clients to fully understand their project needs.
  • Develop leadership and mentorship skills by guiding and supporting junior staff.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Environmental or Earth Sciences) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  • Approximately 15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Proven experience in conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence or development purposes.
  • Experience with Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations and Detailed Site Investigations in compliance with the BC Environmental Management Act.
  • Geo. designation is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and project-related financial management.
