Project Manager
Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will oversee projects for a diverse clientele and work towards becoming the primary contact for a designated group of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, DSI, and remediation projects, which encompasses budget formulation and adherence, time management, cost monitoring, scope definition, proposal development and presentation, as well as report and invoice generation.
  2. Lead and support projects aimed at obtaining Certificates of Compliance and other legal documentation from relevant environmental authorities.
  3. Draft reports with actionable recommendations.
  4. Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  5. Engage with clients to comprehend their project needs.
  6. Develop proposals.
  7. Collaborate with the Marketing department on initiatives and enhance business development skills to foster new client relationships and sustain existing ones.
  8. Enhance leadership and mentorship abilities by guiding and mentoring junior personnel.
Qualifications
  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Environmental or Earth Sciences) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  2. 8 - 15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  3. Proficient in conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence or development purposes.
  4. Experienced in conducting Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations and Detailed Site Investigations to secure legal instruments in accordance with environmental regulations.
  5. A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  6. Knowledgeable in invoicing, budgeting, and other financial management aspects related to projects.
  7. Experienced in business development activities and client engagement.
  8. A valid driver's license and insurance are required (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed).
  9. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  10. Strong attention to detail.
