Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Executive House Suites Hotel. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food production.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
