In this role, you will take on a leadership position during evening and weekend shifts within a high-acuity trauma healthcare facility. You will engage in hands-on activities alongside your team while also overseeing, mentoring, and providing support, which includes educational guidance for students. Your ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential as you share your knowledge, leadership skills, and professional expertise.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist, you will conduct advanced technical radiological imaging assessments on patients aimed at diagnosing diseases and identifying pathologies. You will be responsible for executing specialized diagnostic imaging procedures for review by Physicians or Radiologists, interpreting physician requests, and assisting in the upkeep and management of imaging apparatus.
Essential Qualifications: - Completion of a diploma from a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
- Active registration or eligibility for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
As required.
