Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

This part-time or full-time position offers flexible hours for evenings and weekends, with rotating shifts that provide a predictable schedule. As a Medical Radiation Technologist / Combined Laboratory & X-Ray Technologist at Insight Medical Imaging, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the delivery of reliable, accurate, and compassionate services to our patients, referring physicians, and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and perform a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by the Radiologists and our referring Physicians.
- Operate and maintain all equipment, with a working knowledge of digital imaging equipment.
- Maintain safety and the general care and cleanliness of the radiographic area, with particular attention to radiation safety and infection control.
- Provide quality control in the performance of all procedures.
- Assist in the training of new staff and students, as requested by the Modality General Manager.
- Perform other duties as required.
- MRT(R)/CLXT designation in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), the Association of Canadian Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies (ACMDTT), or the Association of Canadian Clinical Laboratory Technologists (ACCLXT).
- Medication preparation certificate an asset.
- CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
