About the Role

Sipkens Nurseries is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Ensure the greenhouse is clean and well-maintained, including tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and disinfecting.
  • Crop Care: Provide regular care to our crops, including watering, fertilizing, and monitoring for pests and diseases.
  • Harvesting and Pruning: Harvest and prune crops as needed to ensure optimal growth and productivity.
  • Weeding and Pest Control: Remove weeds and pests from the greenhouse to prevent competition for resources and damage to crops.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of greenhouse activities, including crop growth, maintenance, and harvesting.
Work Environment

The greenhouse is a fast-paced environment with a focus on productivity and efficiency. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 42 hours per week.
