Position: Laboratory Technician - Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview:
As a Laboratory Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Accurately receiving and labeling materials in the media preparation area while adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols.
  • Complying with the company's health and safety policies.
  • Promptly reporting any accidents or incidents to the Analyst 2, Team Lead, or Lab Supervisor.
  • Communicating any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the Analyst 2, Team Lead, and Lab Supervisor.
  • Assisting in the training of new personnel on equipment operation and media preparation as required.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date personal training profile.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisor.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Laboratory Technician position should meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Availability to work afternoon shifts and weekends; flexibility for shift changes and overtime is essential.
