Senior Manager, Managed Solutions

The Senior Manager, Managed Solutions plays a pivotal role in steering business operations with an emphasis on industry knowledge, regulatory policies, procedural efficiency, and resource allocation in alignment with corporate, divisional, and team goals. Continuous enhancement of quality, value propositions, and operational standards must be pursued with the interests of clients, advisors, shareholders, and employees in mind. This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute to the organization's growth strategy while maintaining strategic alliances across the company to propel these initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating seamless experiences by prioritizing client needs and removing obstacles for both clients and team members. Staying informed on a wide range of knowledge regarding various products and services is essential.
  • Exhibiting strong leadership and decision-making skills to effectively guide your team towards their developmental objectives and advance strategic priorities.
  • Driving transformation and modernization by anticipating the impacts on business units and related functions.
  • Establishing and tracking departmental goals, priorities, and plans while holding yourself and your team accountable for performance in critical areas.
  • Championing new technologies and supporting team development through training, coaching, and engagement strategies to foster an empowered workforce.
  • Leveraging data and insights to drive ongoing improvement by actively listening to clients and employees, thereby enhancing business processes and creating richer experiences while providing insights to support corporate strategies.
  • Mentoring team members by fostering coaching practices that promote growth and learning.
  • Collaborating effectively with clients and partners across the organization to achieve departmental and divisional objectives.
  • Change Management – contributing to the formulation of change management strategies using established methodologies to communicate the change narrative. Developing, motivating, mentoring, and leading the team through the change management process.
  • Overseeing the onboarding of new team members, including recruitment, interviewing, and selecting top-tier talent.
  • Adapting to shifting priorities by remaining flexible and responsive in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Financial Services Sector: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership success within the financial services industry, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of policies, processes, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership Skills: Proficient in performance management, employee development, coaching, team building, and fostering employee engagement. Proven experience in guiding teams through periods of change.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with clients and business partners across the organization and within the industry.
  • Results-Driven: Detail-oriented with the capability to delegate effectively, meet stringent deadlines, and set high expectations for both the team and oneself.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to think and act strategically in a fluid environment while anticipating future trends in service, technology, and training. An innovative mindset with creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage across various organizational levels.
  • Planning and Organizational Skills: Competence in planning, analyzing data, coordinating, and executing multiple initiatives and projects concurrently.
  • Educational Background: A post-secondary degree in Business Administration or a related field. Industry-specific courses such as CSC, IFC are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry: Familiarity or experience in financial services, capital markets, or the mutual fund sector would be beneficial.
