Job Skills / Requirements

We are currently inviting applications for both full-time and part-time Security Personnel to enhance our team. This role demands strong social awareness and customer service expertise. Candidates must be available for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Compensation: $21-$22.50 per hour.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain effective relationships with clients, tenants, and visitors.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, such as security violations, safety hazards, and emergency situations, and coordinate with emergency responders as necessary.
  • Provide first aid and medical assistance when required.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the security of personnel, premises, and equipment.
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer systems to communicate site activities.
  • Manage crowd control and address trespassing issues.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in security or customer service is advantageous.
  • A valid security license is mandatory.
  • Certification in OFA 1 or higher is preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Physical fitness: ability to walk for extended periods.
  • A Class 5 or Class 7 N BC Driving License is beneficial for mobile patrol roles.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Certification Requirements

Valid BC Security License and OFA I certification are necessary.
