Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at Alberta Glass Company Inc. as a Glazier Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and material required for each job
  • Position and secure panes in frame, assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, and repair glass doors and other glass structures
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Working at heights training, First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Physically demanding work environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, kneeling
