Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Glass Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing glass windows, showers, mirrors, and doors for residential and commercial jobs. You will also be responsible for installing window hardware, ensuring the efficient use of materials, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Install glass windows, showers, mirrors, and doors: You will be responsible for installing glass windows, showers, mirrors, and doors for residential and commercial jobs, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Install window hardware: You will be responsible for installing window hardware, including handles, locks, and other related components.
  • Manage materials and maintain company vehicle: You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of materials and maintaining a clean and well-maintained company vehicle.
  • Collect payment and/or payment information: You will be responsible for collecting payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
  • Perform other duties as needed: You may be required to perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the flat glass industry: Prior experience in the flat glass industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Installing shower experience: Installing shower experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to measure accurately: You must be able to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels.
  • Physical ability to work with ladders and scaffolding: You must be physically able to work with ladders, scaffolding, and related equipment required for glass installation.
  • No fear of heights: You must have no fear of heights on a ladder or lift.
  • Proficiency in tablet-based technology: You must be proficient in navigating tablet-based technology.
  • Excellent communication skills: You must have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to safely transport company vehicle: You must be able to safely and legally transport the company vehicle between job sites and other work-related sites.

COVID-19 Considerations: We are following Alberta Health recommendations regarding masking, and vaccination is not required.
