We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Alberta Glass Company Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Position and secure panes in frames
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
