Role Summary

As the inaugural 'Visiting Scholar' at Clearpath Robotics, you will play a pivotal role in propelling our research and development initiatives. You will engage with the global robotics community and facilitate the transition of R&D projects into tangible products. If you are passionate about applying theoretical research to real-world applications, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research and development in your specialized area
  • Providing technical collaboration and mentorship
  • Engaging with academic institutions
  • Representing Clearpath Robotics as a leader in technology
  • Communicating and understanding technologies relevant to autonomous mobile robotics

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in R&D within a corporate or academic setting
  • Knowledge of navigation, planning, perception, mapping, AI, and related fields
  • Experience in software development for robotic systems
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python
  • Familiarity with key libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and others
  • Experience with frameworks like ROS, Gazebo, CUDA, and more
  • Skilled in experimental analysis and benchmarking
