SE Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care to join our team in the Alliston, Bradford, Nobleton, and Tottenham areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialized holistic assessment and management to individuals with ostomies, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal continence concerns.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Provide education and mentorship to care providers to enhance wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge and capacity.
- Facilitate the dissemination of wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge to promote best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize client outcomes.
- Must have completed the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program.
- Current and active membership in NSWOC Canada is preferred.
- Must be an RN with current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Flexibility and a commitment to advancing wound, ostomy, and continence care at SE Health is required.
