Job Opportunity

Bayshore HealthCare's Medical Personnel division is seeking a skilled Psychologist to conduct psychological risk assessment services in Springhill, Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessment interviews with patients.

- Administer psychological tests to assess patient needs.

- Interpret test results to inform treatment plans.

- Review patient files to ensure comprehensive care.

- Make recommendations for future medical needs related to psychology.

- Prepare psychological risk assessment reports in accordance with organizational requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates must:

- Hold a current license with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.

- Have a minimum of two years of experience in forensic or counselling psychology within the past five years.

- Have completed a minimum of five psychological risk assessments in the last five years.

- Be able to complete psychological assessments in both English and French.

- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Status federal government security clearance.
