Bayshore HealthCare's Medical Personnel division is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to conduct psychological risk assessment services in Springhill, Nova Scotia.
This is a long-term opportunity to work with an interesting patient population, taking into account gender, cultural, religious, and linguistic differences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment interviews
- Administer psychological tests
- Interpret test results
- Review patient files
- Make recommendations for future medical needs related to psychology
- Prepare psychological risk assessment reports following the specific format required by the organization
Requirements:
Candidates must:
- Hold a current license with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in either forensic or counselling psychology in the past five years
- Have completed a minimum of five psychological risk assessments in the last five years
- Be able to complete psychological assessments in both English and French
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Status federal government security clearance
