Job Opportunity

Bayshore HealthCare's Medical Personnel division is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to conduct psychological risk assessment services in Springhill, Nova Scotia.

This is a long-term opportunity to work with an interesting patient population, taking into account gender, cultural, religious, and linguistic differences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessment interviews.

- Administer psychological tests.

- Interpret test results.

- Review patient files.

- Make recommendations for future medical needs related to psychology.

- Prepare psychological risk assessment reports following the specific format required by the organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must:

- Hold a current license with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.

- Have a minimum of two years of experience in either forensic or counselling psychology in the past five years.

- Have completed a minimum of five psychological risk assessments in the last five years.

- Be able to complete psychological assessments in both English and French.

- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Status federal government security clearance.
