Job Title: International Trade Finance Advisor

Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Trade Finance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our International and Export Credit Agencies Relations Team, you will play a critical role in shaping EDC's global trade finance strategy and building relationships with international partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key international partners, including export credit agencies and multilateral institutions.
  • Provide expert advice on trade finance products and policies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform EDC's trade finance strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure EDC's international obligations are met.
  • Represent EDC in international forums and negotiations.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in trade finance, international relations or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
