Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cross Country Ski Instructor to join our team at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. As a key member of our Nordic ski school, you will be responsible for teaching cross-country ski lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Teach cross-country ski lessons in our Child and Adult school as well as Group Lesson programs.
  • Set up outdoor terrain signage.
  • Guide Snowshoe Tours as and when needed.
  • Act as an Ambassador for Mount Washington and the Industry as a whole.
  • Assist in other department operations such as Rentals, Sales and Events when required.
  • Attend daily morning meetings.
  • Cleaning and tidying of the staff room.
  • Assisting the Outdoor Operations staff by shoveling of stairs and entryways and updating the shoveling log.
  • Supporting the Rental department as and when needed.
Requirements
  • Active cross-country skier with a minimum of a level 1 CANSI certification.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong guest service skills.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • First Aid certification an asset.
