Primary Objectives
:To teach cross-country ski lessons to guests of all ages and abilities. You will be expected to assist in Rentals and with our Groups Program during high business volumes. You will always engage our clients with integrity and passion by providing exceptional guest service. Part-time Instructors are also expected to commit to additional shifts in conjunction with their regular schedule during the holidays. These include Christmas break and Family Day long weekend, teaching group lessons, private lessons and assisting with guests in our Rental area.

To teach Cross-Country lessons in in our Child and Adult school as well as Group Lesson programs. Set up of outdoor terrain signage. Guide Snowshoe Tours as and when needed. To act as an Ambassador for Mount Washington and the Industry as a whole. To assist in other department operations such as Rentals, Sales and Events when required. Attend daily morning meetings. Cleaning and tidying of the staff room. Assisting the Outdoor Operations staff by shoveling of stairs and entryways and updating the shoveling log. Supporting the Rental department as and when needed. General:

Expectations:
All applicants should be active cross-country skiers and hold a minimum of a level 1 CANSI Instructors must adhere to the policies and procedures of Mount Washington Alpine Resort at all times. Be quick to learn and self-motivate as well as possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment. Schedule flexibility a definite asset. Must be a team player and able to work without supervision. Strong guest service skills is a requirement. Ability to up-sell products is a huge asset. This position is a physical one that requires grasping, standing, repetitive motions, lifting, listening as well as hearing ability, and visual acuity. Be able to work outside every day, in all weather conditions. Excellent leadership skills. First Aid certification is an asset. Additional knowledge of snowshoeing, the outdoors and surrounding area are definite assets. Perform additional duties such as assisting in the Retail, Rentals and Outdoor Operations areas as required. Salary Range: $18.5.0000 To $25.0000 Hourly-
