Job Purpose:

The Account Development Representative will play a key role in driving the success of our Global Sales Organization by identifying and pursuing new selling opportunities within prospective customer accounts. This involves positioning Limelight's comprehensive suite of solutions in the Content Delivery, Online Video Platform, Cloud Storage, and Security space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a sales-driven attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced business development environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities through warm marketing leads, prospecting, live chat, and in-bound call functions, meeting assigned activity quotas and performance goals.
  • Deliver the Limelight value proposition, utilizing business development experience, sales skills, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm to drive lead qualification, scheduling appointments between prospects and Limelight Sales Associates.
  • Gain a solid understanding of Limelight's differentiated offerings in the SaaS industry.
  • Collaborate with Limelight's Global Business Development Executives and Sales Managers on identifying qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed lead, contact, account, and sales activity metrics within Limelight's Salesforce automation system.
  • Communicate effectively with Marketing to continually improve lead generation activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Computer Sciences.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual with a productive, resourceful, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills.
  • Able to effectively call on business professionals such as IT, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and C-level executive contacts.
  • High activity sales experience, including high call volume, pipeline growth, and lead and opportunity generation.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Video streaming or content delivery services, digital marketing, and interactive services, digital rights management, content management, web analytics, or web hosting experience preferred.
  • CRM software experience, preferably Salesforce.com.
