Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at School District #74 (Gold Trail). As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and on all other trips as assigned, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment on the bus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport students to and from school and on all other trips as assigned
  • Supervise students on the bus to maintain a safe environment
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Sweep and clean the interior and exterior of the bus daily
  • Make minor repairs as required and report to the Mechanic any items requiring repairs
  • Maintain student discipline
  • Undertake bus washing and needed lubrication
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid Class 2 Driver's License with air endorsement
  • 2 years of driving experience with Class 2 and air
  • Clear Driver's Abstract
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicles
  • Clear criminal record check
  • Ability to communicate and relate well with students
  • Physical capability to perform the work
