About the Job:As a key member of our team at Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' eligibility for publicly funded vaccines, screen for contraindications, and obtain informed consent in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer vaccines in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Counsel clients on post-vaccination care and potential adverse reactions.
- Complete required documentation, including data collection and reporting.
- Monitor and maintain vaccine cold chain and proper disposal of sharps.
- Assist with clinic setup and dismantling, as well as travel to various locations as required.
