About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel, Health and Privacy Law to join our team at Dialogue Health Technologies Inc. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on health and privacy laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice to various departments on health and privacy laws and regulations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Canadian health and privacy laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement legal processes and documentation to ensure compliance with health and privacy regulations
  • Support communication with regulatory bodies, governments, and interest groups on health law matters
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects related to health and privacy matters
  • Advise on commercial agreements involving complex legal issues
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and work with business leaders to mitigate risks
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice on day-to-day operations
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in the healthcare or privacy sectors, with familiarity with regulated environments
  • Bachelor's degree in civil law (LL.B. or LL.L.) and membership in the Quebec or Ontario Bar
  • Proficient in developing privacy programs within organizations
  • Strong legal acumen, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in writing, negotiating, and managing multiple priorities and files
  • Effective communicator with strong relationships-building skills
  • Capable of autonomously developing programs, policies, and documentation
  • Bilingual in French and English, with strong communication and collaboration skills
