Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trades across various Delta One products, including but not limited to ETFs, equities, and index futures, utilizing both automated and manual trading techniques.
- Enhance existing trading strategies and innovate new approaches through automated, statistical, and machine learning methodologies.
- Explore new markets for deploying trading strategies and initiate new research avenues.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of trends in major financial markets, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of global events and their implications for financial markets.
- Assess the feasibility of applying existing strategies to new asset classes.
- Perform post-trade evaluations of strategies using customized technological systems.
- Relay pertinent news, market developments, and system performance to team members.
- Collaborate with software developers to implement trading strategies and enhance system functionalities.
- Contribute to the creation of analytical tools.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative analytical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in profitable trading on a leading Delta One desk within a banking, proprietary trading, or market-making context.
- Extensive trading experience in Asian markets and familiarity with market regulations.
- Proven track record in effectively building and managing trades.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- A keen interest in analyzing large datasets, leveraging knowledge of probability and statistics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or similar.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and VBA.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of thriving in fast-paced, competitive environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
