Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crop Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for selling and marketing our crop products and services to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet sales targets and grow our customer base.
  2. Travel to client locations to establish relationships, provide product demonstrations, and obtain orders for our crop products and services.
  3. Utilize professional sales techniques, including the FS sales interview roadmap, to build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotions.
  7. Meet or exceed sales targets, as established by management.

Requirements

  1. Daily independent travel within the trade area, with occasional overnight stays.
  2. Minimum of an Associate's Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business, or equivalent experience.
  3. 2+ years of related work experience in sales, marketing, or agronomy.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
