Position: Teaching Assistant – EAL/Language Support

We are seeking a qualified professional to deliver comprehensive assistance to students who are learning English as an additional language.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of both spoken and written English, and will engage with students at various proficiency levels, including those who are new to the language. While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as extensive training will be provided.

This role is part-time and operates during term time, requiring commitment for 3 to 4 days each week. Specific working hours will be determined.

The remuneration for this position aligns with NJC SCP 7 - 12, with a full-time equivalent salary ranging from £24,294 to £26,421, depending on the actual hours worked.
