About the Role

Bridgeway Family Homes is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Family Support Specialists. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide goal-focused services to families, children, and youth who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with our team members to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Service Delivery: Provide scheduled, goal-focused services to families and individuals, including developing and implementing goal-focused activities.
  • Case Management: Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children and youth while providing services.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Hold a certificate or diploma in a social service discipline, such as Developmental Service Worker, and possess current Verbal De-escalation Certification.
  • Experience: Have experience providing services to children, youth, and families with diverse needs.
  • Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational, administrative, and report-writing skills.
  • Background Checks: Obtain and maintain a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and a Child Welfare Record Check.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 'G' Driver's License and have access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
