Insurance Account Representative

As a successful Desjardins Agent, we are seeking a qualified professional to join our winning team for the role of Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to market appropriate products and services.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- A successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive problem-solving and dedication to customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and make presentations to potential customers.
- Property & Casualty license, preferred but not necessary for interview.
This is an independent contractor agent position, part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agent's employees are not employees of Desjardins, and independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
